Service & Equipment Fee
 
 
Additional fees may include, but are not limited to, move-in and move-out time, excessive clean-up, utility services, midnight - 7 am labor, room set-up changeovers, equipment    rental and special labor charges.  A current list of fees is included.  The Center maintains exclusive electrical, plumbing and other utility services.  Equipment provided will depend on inventory and availability. 
 
 
Outside Vendors
 
 

All outside vendors providing services and/or products to users of TaosConvention Center must contact the Facilities Supervisor. Thirty days before the first day of move-in, a list of all vendors or service providers for the user and/or individual exhibitors is due in the Convention Center Office.

 
 
Concessions & Catering
 
 

All food, beverages and liquor services are provided by contracted catering companies of the Convention Center.  No food and/or beverage may be carried into the Center. 

 
 
Liquor Control
 
 

All functions desiring alcoholic beverages must coordinate with the Center's contracted provider.  Absolutely no liquor may be brought onto premises by a tenant.  Events at which alcoholic beverages are served will require the presence of Security Guards, which will be coordinated by the provider, and applicable service charges will apply.  No liquor may be dispensed or consumed at an activity that is classified as a "youth" activity; i.e., the function is designed for, to invite, or encourage participation by youth.  Youth is defined as less than twenty-one years of age.  All liquor service must end at 11 pm..

All events are considered tentative until a signed contract and the required deposit are received.  50% of room rental rate is due at time of booking.  Balance of room rate is due in full 30 days prior to event.

 
 
Security
 
 

The Taos Convention Center reserves the right to require security at non-alcohol functions based on type of function and number of people in attendance (i.e.: graduations, wedding receptions and other large functions). Applicable charges will be assessed. 

 
 
Parking
 
 

Parking is available at two Municipal Parking Lots, which have a total of 225 un-metered spaces.  Numerous other metered spaces are available around the Convention Center. 

 
 
Fire Regulations
 
 

The user shall abide by all fire regulations in place during the time the building is being utilized.

 
 
Smoking Policy
 
 

In compliance with the New Mexico Clean Air Act, the Town's No-Smoking policy has been established for all public buildings.  Outside designated areas will be provided as authorized smoking areas.

 
 
Deliveries
 
 

The Taos Convention Center cannot accept advance freight shipments for exhibitors or clients.  Freight must be consigned to tenant's show service contractor or delivered directly to the service contractor during leased period. 

 
 
Americans with Disabilities Act
 
 

The facility is entirely handicapped accessible.

 
 
Service Positions
 
 

The entire staff and management of the Taos Convention Center are committed to making each event a successful one.  TCC employees pride themselves in providing friendly service adapted to each group’s needs.

Sales & Coordinating staff provide site inspections, assist with Lodging Room Blocks, conference/event coordination, guest tours, recreational activities, as well as off-site venues.
